Instagram Stops

The best part of my day is the walk I take from the subway to my house. I criss-cross through many roads, by-lanes, and sidewalks. I see many fire hydrants tied to the ends of each street. Dogs are sometimes tied to them, while their masters dash inside coffee-shops for a quick re-charge.

I also see doors, windows, porches of many shapes and size. But most of all, I see statues of little angels, lighting up littler gardens. I see how they sit content in the Edens constructed for them. My eye stops here and so do I. I see leaves, flowers, and grass laid out in front of me. I stare at blades of grass, and how it tilts rays of the evening sun as light passes gently through them. I take out my phone and angle it for a quick Instagram moment.
